"I started VA Lady Bulls because I saw too many talented girls in the Richmond and Tri-Cities area being left behind by the 'Pay-to-Play' system. I saw families forced to choose between groceries and team fees.
I decided that in our gym, the only requirement for entry would be a willingness to learn and a commitment to the team. We aren't just building basketball players; we are building the next generation of Tri-Cities leaders. Every time I personally subsidize a uniform or a gym fee, I'm not just paying for a game—I'm investing in a girl's future. We invite you to join this mission, whether as a player, a parent, or a community partner."
Founded to break the "Pay-to-Play" barrier in the Tri-Cities, the VA Lady Bulls began with a simple belief: a girl's potential should not be defined by her bank account. Our founder personally subsidizes program costs to ensure that elite-level coaching and mentorship remain accessible to every family in our community.
To provide an inclusive, low-cost platform where girls use basketball as a vehicle for personal growth. We prioritize development over trophies and character over scoreboards.
